The Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is quickly becoming a go-to for guys everywhere. The Sunday Performance Jogger is built to be worn for both daily wear and for general workouts.
In the cooler months, I love wearing joggers to train in for my warm-ups. I’m also on the never-ending quest of finding the best men’s joggers on the market so I was super excited to try out the Sunday Performance Jogger.
Overall, I really enjoy the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, they walk a fine line between being relatively budget-friendly for a premium apparel brand. However, thare are a couple of cons with these joggers which I’ll discuss below.
In this Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger review, I’m going to break down all of the key details that you should know before investing in these joggers.

Who Should Invest In the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger?
The Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger has quickly become one of my go-to jogger options for casual wear and light workout warm-ups. This jogger is simplistic in nature with a soft material and they have a nice level of stretch to them.
I think if you’re a guy who is in need of a jogger for mostly casual wear and workout warm-ups here and there, then the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger can be a good option to explore.
The pocket system used on the Sunday Performance Jogger is also solid and I enjoy the price point of this jogger compared to other more “premium” apparel brands like Lululemon, Ten Thousand, and Rhone.
The two things to note about this jogger that knock their performance include that this jogger’s material isn’t super heavy, so they may not be the best option for winter wear. Also, with a fixed inseam of 28 inches, some may find they’re too short or long based on their anatomy.
Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger Pros
Over the course of my review process with the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, I’ve found multiple pros and things to like.
- Good for Casual Settings and Workout Warm-Ups
- Nice Level of Stretch In Material
- Great Pocket System With Additional Zipper Pocket
The first aspect to like about the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is that it’s a pretty well-rounded jogger. This jogger works well for casual wear and for promoting warmth and warming up before your workouts.
Essentially, the Sunday Performance Jogger is an easy pick for lounging around the house, running errands, and wearing to the gym as an additional layer on brisk days or warm days where you want to get warm as fast as possible.
The price point is also fairly solid for what this jogger offers in regard to appearance and performance. At a price of $89 USD, it’s one of the more “budget-friendly” joggers when compared to other premium apparel brands.
The next aspect to like about the Sunday Performance Jogger is how well they stretch. This model’s material breakdown comes out to 88% Polyester and 12% Elastane. I like this blend and they give you a nice level of mobility in this jogger.
The material also sits pretty well for a wide range of anatomies. While this jogger may not align with everyone’s legs, I do think the vast majority won’t feel limited by this jogger’s materials and overall shape.
The last aspect to like about the Vouri Sunday Performance Jogger is their pocket system. Nothing is more frustrating than a pair of joggers that has a pocket system that can’t accommodate your phone, wallet, and keys.
In the Sunday Performance Jogger, you have two deep pockets on the left and right which do a good job at holding your gear without overly protruding.
You also have a zip pocket on the left side of the jogger for cards, key fobs, and other valuables you want to keep secure. Additionally, you have two zip pockets on the back.
Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger Cons
For the most part, the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger has been a strong jogger in my apparel lineup. However, there are a couple of cons to not about them.
- Not the Best for Cold Weather
- Only One Inseam Option
The first knock that I could see others having with the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is that their material is not the heaviest. This jogger will be best served for spring, summer, and fall wear, and it isn’t the best for winter wear.
The polyester and elastane in this jogger are lighter in nature and if you’re investing in this jogger hoping to wear them in the winter, especially around freezing temperatures, then you may find they don’t provide you with the warmth you want.
While you obviously could wear them in winter, I think if you’re someone that wants a heavier material for maximal warmth in cold months, then you’ll want to explore options better suited for that context.
The second drawback to the Sunday Performance Jogger is that they only offer one inseam option at 28″. While 28″ is typically a good middle ground inseam for most, it can be limited for shorter or taller individuals.
For example, my normal pant inseam sits around 32-33 inches, so I do find this jogger to be a little short at times. More specifically, when I’m going into deep hip flexion squatting, this jogger will typically ride up a little bit.
They don’t ride up to a huge degree and it doesn’t bother me a ton because I’m used to it with joggers that have fixed inseams, but if you’re someone who needs an even longer inseam, then I’d definitely consider this.
In regard to tightness, fit, and this jogger’s inseam, I don’t think most will have an issue in this context. This jogger fits my legs pretty well and I have slightly bigger quads, hamstrings, and glutes.
Performance
To discuss the performance of the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, I’m going to break down how these joggers do in key contexts. First, I’ll talk about them for working out, and second, I’ll discuss their performance for casual wear.
This way you can cross-reference this jogger’s overall performance and see if they fit the context of your wants, needs, and preferences.
Testing the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger for Working Out
For working out, the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger does a fairly good job. It’s not the most workout-focused jogger on the market, but for someone who wants to use them causally here and there, they should work fine.
I’ll personally wear mine for warm-up purposes, then ditch them as I either get through my warm-up or get to a point of warmth I’m content with.
For more context, I’ll wear them often for more general warm-ups that include things like riding the Assault bike and doing air squats, bodyweight lunges, and various mobility drills.
I’m not the biggest fan of this jogger for serious training, but for casual work, again, they’re solid. For example, I would rather not wear these for working up to big squats or for things like deadlifts and this is solely to prevent any stretching or ripping of the material.
Outside of lower body training, this jogger can be a good option for upper body days where you want something light that is non-restrictive. They’ll also perform their best for warming up in the spring and fall, in my opinion.
Testing the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger for Casual Wear
In the context of casual and daily wear, the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger does a good job. I think most users will enjoy their material and how soft it is. They feel easy to wear for long periods and never give you that restrictive feeling that comes along with other pants.
The leg taper and cuff also help give this jogger a nice fit in the context that they don’t stretch out a ton at the leg and look baggy too fast. I can generally wear my pair for 2-4 days before I need to wash them, and even then, they don’t look overly stretched out.
Granted, this may not be the case if you have thinner legs and they may look stretched out slightly quicker in your context, but for folks with slightly meatier legs, they should be fine in regard to their stretch and appearance.
The pocket system is also a nice perk of this jogger for daily wear contexts. I’m not a fan of overly tight joggers or joggers with small pockets because then you run into the issue of things like your phone and pocket pushing the pockets out a ton.
The only casual wear context where I think the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger falls short is for colder days. They’re not the warmest jogger on the market, but if you understand going into them, then I think you’ll enjoy their casual wear performance.
Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger Vs Lululemon ABC Jogger
When it comes to the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger versus the Lulu ABC Jogger, I think there’s a winner and I wanted to discuss a few key differences to note between both of these popular joggers.
The first major difference is the material used in each jogger. The Lululemon ABC Jogger’s body is built with 53% Elastomultiester and 47% Recycled polyester while the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is composed of 88% Polyester and 12% Elastane.
The Sunday Performance Jogger has a much softer feel compared to the ABC Jogger and they also have a bit more give in regard to their stretch. While the cuff can ride up in Sunday Performance Jogger here and there for me, I’ve found the ABC Jogger has this happen to a much larger degree.
Another difference between these joggers is their overall appearance in regard to their taper. The Sunday Performance Jogger’s taper is a bit more pronounced whereas the ABC Jogger doesn’t come in nearly as much through the lower leg.
The final major difference to note between these joggers is their price points. The Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger costs $89 USD and the Lululemon ABC Jogger costs $128 USD. That’s a pretty significant difference for a similar performance.
Winner: I’d say go with the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger. They’re softer and you’ll save close to $40 USD by opting for them over the ABC Jogger.

Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger Sizing
For the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, you should be safe going true to size based on their sizing recommendations. One of the things that I enjoy about Vuori apparel is that their sizes are pretty spot on for their recommendations.
The Sunday Performance Jogger’s waist fits true and this jogger comes with a set 28″ inseam. To be honest, I do wish there were at least one or two additional inseam options for shorter and taller guys, but 28″ is an okay compromise for only having one.
In the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, I wear a size medium and they fit well. Below, I’m going to provide my dimensions so you can cross-reference how the Sunday Performance Jogger fits on me, then hopefully apply that, or get an idea, regarding how they’ll fit on you.
- Height: 6′ 0″
- Weight: 181 lbs
- Waist: 32-33″
- Hip (circumference around butt): 40″
- Mid-Thigh: 23.5″-24″
Overall, I like the sizing of the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger, however, my ideal inseam sits around 32-33″ so this jogger can ride up a little. For example, when I sit down they tend to come up a bit more than I’d like.
Additionally, if I’m wearing the Sunday Performance Jogger for a workout warm-up and I’m doing things like air squats or using the assault bike, then I’ll often have to pull them down due to the shorter inseam and my quads pulling the jogger up.

Takeaway Thoughts
Across the board, I think the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is one of the better joggers on the market for the price from a more premium brand. This jogger delivers in regard to its construction and is a good 3-season jogger.
I think if you’re looking for a consistent jogger that has a nice casual vibe to them, then the Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger is a good option to explore.
My only gripes with this jogger are that you’ll be a little limited in the winter with them and their inseam length may not be perfect for everyone.

Thanks for the thoughtful breakdown on these pants. I use the vouri Sunday joggers for outdoor ice hockey in Minnesota. So far I have used them down to -1 f without issues. That’s not counting wind-chill. With other pants in the past, on cold days I would have problems with the tip freezing from wind-chill on the crotch. I have not had that happen yet with the Sunday joggers so I gotta say they are pretty good.
Heck yeah, love hearing that! I played puck growing up and would trek up to Minnesota often for tourneys. Here’s to more healthy seasons, brother!
