Ladies, I know you understand the struggle… why is it that we can’t have decent legging or joggers with pockets like the guys do? I’ve tried everything with pockets, joggers, tights, biker shorts, and they always feel either weighed down, the pockets were constricting, or they were poorly placed and everything would fall out.
Enter the Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings.
I was skeptical going into these. Are they just another pair making big promises? Or would they actually live up to their name and be a true daily wear pair of leggings with functional pockets?
I was impressed from the moment I put them on.
The Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings aren’t your average pair of leggings. More of a legging-jogger hybrid with details like cuffed ankles and an outer drawstring. Enough compression to feel hugged and heavy enough to be squat-proof.
I’ve put these through everything from HIIT sessions to strength workouts, yoga and pilates, taken them for runs and to run errands and have some thoughts on where they stand out and where they fall short.

Who Should Buy the Daily Pocket Leggings?
- You Want Versatility: Anyone looking for a versatile pair of leggings that handle everything from HIIT and strength workouts, to yoga and pilates, to daily comfort and travel with ease should definitely check these out.
- You Care About Stylish Fits: If you love the jogger fit, the more elevated style, then these are going to be the perfect stylish upgrade to your basic black leggings.
- You Prioritize Comfort: If you want a “do-it-all” pair of leggings or joggers, these are the right amount of comfortable, flattering, and functional.

Who Should Skip These?
- You’re Shopping On a Budget: If you’re shopping on a budget, at $98 these aren’t going to be the answer for you. These are more of an investment than a casual impulse buy.
- You Need Something With Max Breathability: If you’re looking for a lighter-weight, more breathable pair of leggings for running or cardio, these are going to be too heavy and cumbersome for what you’re after.
- You Want Simplicity: If you prefer a more classic, minimalistic style legging, the jogger inspired details here are not going to be your thing.
Fit and Sizing Suggestions
About me: I’m 5’3” and about 122 lbs. I usually wear a size small across the board in activewear. Depending on style, I typically wear a 24/26 in Abercrombie and Levis jeans, and a 2/4 in Hollister.

I picked up a size small in the regular length Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings. They fit true to size through the waist and hips. They have a medium level of compression, which places them in a sweet spot between the higher compression Lululemon Wunder Train and the looser Lululemon Align that I’ve shared reviews on.
The length was my biggest point of frustration. They ran a bit short for my liking. They fall just above the ankle with no extra fabric, which means no bunching. That’s great for barefoot workouts or if you wear no-show socks. It’s not as ideal if you like pairing leggings with crew socks like me. This is one of those hit or miss fit aspects depending on your anatomy and preferences.
These were my first pair of Vuori leggings. I was surprised at how short all their lengths looked on the rack. If you’re taller, have longer legs, or prefer more coverage at the ankle, you may want to check inseam lengths and definitely try before you buy.
Performance Breakdown
For the Daily Pocket Legging, I tested them in a wide range of settings. My training revolves around doing 2-3 F45 classes a week and running 3-4 times a week. I’ll also sprinkle in strength and cross-training/HIIT workouts with Jake, so every week, I’m training around 5-6 days.
Lifting & HIIT: 8.5/10
The Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings hit a nice sweet spot for workouts. The thicker material makes them a bit more durable and, more importantly, squat-proof. The heavier fabric holds up well under deep squats and lunges without stretching too much that they get revealing.

It’s worth noting that the waistband is a bit looser than I expected it to be. In a nice trade-off, the outer drawstring ties easily enough and makes it simple to adjust and get just the right fit so they stay put during HIIT circuits and jumps. The added cuff around the ankle is a nice touch too, keeping the leggings from riding up without being overly restrictive.
Though they are squat-proof in terms of stretch, they can let lines show through. It could be the lighter color I tested (Light French Blue) is a bit more revealing than darker colorways would be. Not an end-all be-all, just food for thought depending on your workout and the colors you like to wear.

Running: 6.5/10
This is where the joggers disappointed me a bit, if you want these for running. As much as I loved some of the jogger-inspired design details, the cuffed ankles and thicker fabric make them feel a little heavy compared to more running-specific leggings, especially in the heat.
My gym is routinely on the warmer side, so I picked up on the lack of breathability pretty fast when wearing these for a few of my interval workouts. And though the pockets are handy, I wouldn’t stash anything more than a card or small key for a run because they’ll be flying all over the place. These leggings are great for walking and hiking when you don’t have much in your pockets, but far from ideal for running.

Yoga, Pilates & Low Impact: 8.7/10
These leggings are great for low-impact classes like yoga or pilates. The material is flexible and super soft. The mid-level compression is a huge benefit here too, they don’t dig in during core or folding movements. The waistband stays put with the drawstring, and even though there’s a front seam, which you know I cannot stand, I didn’t seem to notice it much at all (it’s usually in these classes that I do notice it).
Daily Wear & Comfort: 9.5/10
They really lived up to their “Daily” name here. These are daily-wear all-stars. The soft material and jogger-style cuff really help elevate that “everyday” look and feel. The outer drawstring adds a touch of style while being functional.

The pocket placement is perfect. They sit low enough to not weigh down the waist, and also just right so as not to limit mobility if you have your phone or keys in them. I took them on a hike with my phone in one pocket and a snack bar in the other, and they didn’t shift or feel heavy.
Construction Details
The Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings are made their BreatheInterlock™ performance stretch knit fabric that balances stretch and support. The fabric is soft on the skin yet heavy and durable enough to hold its shape after multiple wears and washes.

The outer drawstring comfortably sits on a wide waistband, making it easy to fine-tune fit. The two side pockets are deep enough for a phone or snack bar and still disappear when they’re empty.
The cuffed ankle gives them that jogger-inspired finish, which sets them apart from traditional leggings.

Vuori’s stitching feels solid, and after several wears and washes, I’ve had no pilling, no shrinkage, and no seam fraying. The Light French Blue colorway I tested does show lines more than a darker color would, so if you’re sensitive to that, black or navy may be safer bets.
Final Thoughts: Would I Buy Again?
The Vuori Daily Pocket Leggings live up to their name.
They’re built for versatility, gym sessions, mat classes, casual hikes, travel days, and lounging. The jogger-style cuff and outer drawstring make them a little more fashion-forward than standard leggings, and the pockets are actually functional without being obtrusive.
They’re not perfect, the length runs short for my taste, and I wouldn’t choose them for serious running. As a “do it all” pair that works in nearly every other scenario, they’re one of the more versatile leggings I’ve tested.
If you’re looking for a pair of leggings that can stand up to everything you want to throw at them in the gym and are still comfortable enough to lounge around or travel in, these are worth the investment. If running is your thing or if you’re on a tighter budget, you may want to look for a longer, lighter, or more affordable option.
