Dr. Jake Thein is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified Performance Specialist with a diverse background in strength and conditioning, CrossFit, and performance-based physiotherapy.

Specializing in the care of mountain bikers, snowboarders, and skiers, Dr. Jake’s personal passion for these sports and his experience as an avid mountain biker and snowboarder himself provide unique insights that enhance his ability to serve his clients.

With a dedication to helping individuals across the United States feel and perform better, Dr. Jake’s mission centers around providing his clients with increased confidence, freedom, and joy. He is driven by a passion for all things related to movement, and he is determined to help his clients find the freedom to live big and experience all the world has to offer.

Dr. Jake’s approach is rooted in a combination of in-depth clinical assessment, strength and conditioning principles, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices. His holistic methodology ensures that his clients achieve a comprehensive result, focusing on both their physical well-being and lifestyle enhancements.

He designs comprehensive programs for his clients that include precise exercise prescriptions, lifestyle modifications, and specific equipment recommendations, all geared toward improving performance.

As a collegiate football player turned mountain athlete and physio, Dr. Jake recognizes the crucial role of proper footwear in training and in sports. With a deep understanding of the biomechanics of the foot and ankle and a combination of the data from the clinical assessment, he can match an individual to the appropriate footwear to help them feel and perform better.
