Reebok Nano fans, buckle up because the Reebok Nano X2 is coming in hot. We finally have the official Reebok Nano X2 release dates and colorways that will be initially debuting for this model.

The Reebok Nano X2 is the 12th iteration of the popular Reebok Nano cross-training shoe line. After the release of the Reebok Nano X1 and due to its stark differences from the popular Reebok Nano X, athletes have been super curious to know what the Nano X2 will have in store.

A couple of weeks ago, there was an initial Reebok Nano X2 leak which left athletes and lifters with a lot of questions. Is the Reebok Nano X2 going to be very similar or very different from the Reebok Nano X1?

Official Reebok Nano X2 Release Dates

There are two primary release dates to know for the Reebok Nano X2. On April 1st, Reebok UNLOCKED members will be granted early access to the Reebok Nano X2.

In addition, Reebok UNLOCKED members will also have exclusive access to a limited-edition Reebok Nano X2 colorway called Orange Heat. This colorway is said to pay homage to the franchise’s heritage and will have a limited supply.

On April 8th, the Reebok Nano X2 will be available worldwide for purchase in a variety of colorways.

As opposed to last year’s mantra of the “Official Shoe of Fitness”, the Reebok Nano X2 is embracing a new mantra titled, “The Shoe of You”. This shoe is said to be designed to deliver a versatile performance and durable construction.

After the initial Reebok Nano X2 colorways debut on April 8th, there will also be multiple colorways and spin-off models dropping throughout the year similar to the Reebok Nano X1.

For the first time in multiple years, the Reebok Nano X2 will be receiving a price increase. As opposed to the traditional $130 USD that most Reebok Nanos cost, the Reebok Nano X2 will now cost $135 USD.

In regard to specs and construction changes to warrant this price increase, there have been a lot of rumors circulating online about this shoe and its noticeable changes after the Reebok Nano X2 leak.

The talk has mostly been on the fact that it looks as though the core midsole and outsole construction of the Reebok Nano X2 is consistent with the Reebok Nano X1 and it’s primarily received changes to its upper.

The lack of noticeable major changes is pretty stereotypical for major training shoe releases. For example, every two years we generally see the major construction updates — not every year.

We can look at the Reebok Nano 7/8 and Reebok Nano 9/X, as examples, and other companies follow a similar structure.

Without physically testing the shoes yet, I do think the Reebok Nano X2’s upper construction looks a lot better than the Reebok Nano X1. This shoe has more of an athletic vibe and appearance to it, and I do like its overall design based on these images.

Personally, I like the reworked upper and appearance of the Reebok Nano X2. My favorite Reebok Nano X1 variation was the Adventure and these give me similar vibes to that model.
