Testing the RAD ONE for CrossFit

Lifting Tests

    • Max Squat: 425 lbs. Good stability. SwellFoam midsole had no issues with 400+ lb squats.
    • Max Deadlift: 555 lbs. This shoe works well for deadlifts. It’s not the most optimized trainer for big pulls, but for most lifters, it should work just fine.
    • Max Lunge: 255 lb walking lunge. The grip and flexible midsole are great for single-leg workouts.
    • Max Leg Press: 590 lbs. Good outsole grip and the upper security locks the feet down well.
    • TF2 Lifting Rating: 4.6/5

Versatility Tests

    • HIIT Workouts: Full-body circuits. This shoe’s SwellFoam midsole and upper security are the star players for their dynamic performance for HIIT.
    • CrossFit WODs: Fran, Cindy, and more. The RAD ONE is well-rounded for CrossFit and it’s one of the strongest shoes for tackling every type of WOD you throw at them.
    • Running Tests: Sprints and 2 mile run. For sprints, this model feels good and flexible. For my 2-mile run tests, this shoe works well and I like them as a hybrid option.
    • TF2 Versatility Rating: 4.6/5
