Check Out the Rawdacious Nike Romaleos 4 | What Are Your Thoughts?

It has been a tumultuous few years for the Summer Olympics. They’ve been postponed and rescheduled multiples times and multiple companies have done their best to create and gauge new product launches on prospective Summer Olympics dates.

This year, the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics will be kicking off on July 23rd and a few companies have started to roll out their Olympic-themed merchandise. In the world of shoes, Nike made it known last week that their Olympic-themed shoes and apparel will be dropping very soon.

Nike Shares “Rawdacious” Summer Olympics Colorway

The 2021 Olympic-themed colorway that Nike will be rolling out very soon has been titled “Rawdacious” and it features a blend of pink, orange, and purple colors on a clean white upper with a very prominent Nike swoosh.

Its design is said to celebrate the unity of sport per Nike’s initial press article.

Thus far, Nike has made it known that a variety of shoes will come with this new iconic coloway including the Nike Zoom G.T. Run, Pegasus 38, some SB models, Air Zoom AlphaFly Next, and many more. In the world of strength sports, many have been wondering, will we get the “Rawdacious” colorway on shoes like the Nike Metcon 7 and Nike Romaleos 4?

And the answer to that is — yes — yes, we will.

Nike Romaleos 4 “Rawdacious”

Thanks to @nikemetconclub on Instagram, we got the first images of the Nike Romaleos 4 in the Olympic-themed colorway. Apparently, this weightlifting shoe popped on a Polish-based retail outlet, and Piotr Sabara, a Nike Metcon club follower sent over the images to be shared with the community.

With the prospective likely confirmation that the Nike Romaleos 4 will be available in the “Rawdacious” colorway, now the question remains, will the Nike Metcon 7?

Thus far, there has been no mention of this model being included in the list of shoes set to feature the Olympic-themed colorway, but if I had to guess, we will likely see the Metcon 7 with the “Rawdacious” theme.

Since the Nike Metcon 7 is yet to be available worldwide, my guess is that Nike has been holding off on mentioning this model rocking the Olympic-themed colorway due to it not being available for mass consumption yet.

However, do note, I could totally be wrong, but I think it would be odd not to include the Nike Metcon 7 in the “Rawdacious” colorway lineup since it’s a signature cross-training shoe for Nike.
